Galaxy friends for theme park, Samsung
While working at Samsung C&T Resort's graphic design department, I partnered with Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Friends team on a project for Everland, Korea's largest theme park. We developed an NFC-enabled experience kit, allowing visitors to access over 100 interactive pieces of content and festival information directly on their mobile devices and Galaxy Watches. This innovative service not only provided graphic-rich park and event details but also enabled guests to book attractions and view wait times, significantly enhancing the visitor experience at Everland.

Providing Park Content & Smart Reservation Guidance
Designed for Samsung Galaxy Friends at Everland, Korea's largest theme park, the service provides a comprehensive map featuring five thematic zones, listing all attractions, rides, and shows, complete with their operating hours and waiting times. It enables users to significantly cut down on wait times by allowing them to make advance reservations with a few simple taps, offering precise time slots that are updated every 20 minutes. Through the website, users can monitor their reservation status and see how long until their turn, in addition to being able to purchase, scan, and activate tickets.
Moreover, by leveraging NFC tag technology, the service offers users the ability to unlock additional information and engage in events tied to specific locations within the park.
Feature 1. Ticket Registration & Entrence
The Galaxy Friends platform streamlines the ticketing process, allowing users to purchase, scan, and activate their entrance tickets directly from their smartphones, making entry smooth and hassle-free.
Feature 2. Attraction Reservation
One of the service's standout features is the ability to minimize waiting times. Through the app, visitors can book their spots in advance for attractions and rides, choosing from available time slots every 20 minutes, thereby optimizing their visit.

Utilizing the Galaxy Friends app, visitors can navigate the vast expanses of Everland with ease. The app provides a detailed map segmented into five thematic zones, ensuring that all attractions, rides, and performances are just a tap away.

It not only simplifies logistical aspects like navigation and queue management but also adds a layer of digital engagement that modernizes the traditional theme park visit.
